Carrion Crow with Grey Seal pup carcass
The aptly named Carrion Crow appears to stare at the photographer to see if the coast is clear for it to scavenge on the carcass of a dead Grey Seal pup. The pupping season started later in the UK this year and at the beginning of the event, there were many still born pups or those that had drowned and were left on the beach. There were many scavengers around. Taken in late November 2021.
